Pumpkin & Hommus Pie

Prep Time – 10 minutes, Total cook time – 55 minutes


  • 1 tub SSS Foods Hommus
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp mixed spice
  • 1 Woolworths pastry flan case
  • Icing sugar, to serve
  • Whipped cream, to serve


  1. Preheat over the oven to 180°C.
  2. Pumpkin Puree: Roast or boil pumpkin until soft, season and blend until smooth in a blender.
  3. Add the other ingredients for the filling into the blender and blend until a smooth consistency.
  4. Pour pumpkin mixture into the pastry flan case.
  5. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. The top should be firm, and the crust should be lightly browned around the edges.
  6. Serve with whipped cream and icing sugar.
