Pumpkin & Hommus Pie
Prep Time – 10 minutes, Total cook time – 55 minutes
- 1 tub SSS Foods Hommus
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp mixed spice
- 1 Woolworths pastry flan case
- Icing sugar, to serve
- Whipped cream, to serve
- Preheat over the oven to 180°C.
- Pumpkin Puree: Roast or boil pumpkin until soft, season and blend until smooth in a blender.
- Add the other ingredients for the filling into the blender and blend until a smooth consistency.
- Pour pumpkin mixture into the pastry flan case.
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. The top should be firm, and the crust should be lightly browned around the edges.
- Serve with whipped cream and icing sugar.
